Section I
Privacy Policy
VisualNorthHouse (“we”, “us”, “the studio”), registered at C. del Pare Luis Méndez, 14, 46910 Sedaví, València, Spain, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
What we collect. When you use our inquiry questionnaire or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, project notes, and any other details you voluntarily provide. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used solely to keep the site secure and improve it.
Why we process it. We use this data to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted design and development services, send transactional communications, and meet legal and accounting obligations. The lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating our studio, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing & retention. We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with trusted processors (for example email, hosting, and payment providers) bound by data-processing agreements, and only as far as needed to deliver the service. Inquiry data is retained no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact; contractual records are kept as required by Spanish tax law.
Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection to processing, and may withdraw consent at any time. EU/EEA residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority; Californian residents may exercise CCPA rights to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” — we do not sell personal information. Contact [email protected] to exercise any right.
Transfers & security. Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. We apply encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices appropriate to a boutique design studio.

Terms of Service
These Terms govern every engagement between you and VisualNorthHouse for interface design, visual systems, front-end implementation, audits, and related advisory work. By commissioning a service, paying an invoice, or accepting a written proposal, you agree to these Terms together with the proposal’s scope.
Scope & change control. Each engagement is defined in a written proposal stating deliverables, price, and turnaround. Additional work outside that scope requires written approval and may adjust fee and timeline. You are responsible for providing timely content, assets, and feedback; delays in your inputs extend delivery dates accordingly.
Fees & payment. Prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise. Deposits are due before work begins; balances are due on delivery milestones. Payments may be made through our secure payment link. Late amounts may accrue statutory interest under Spanish law. Public listed prices (for example $490 or $1,200) are starting points for the described package.
Intellectual property. Upon full payment, you receive all rights in the client-specific deliverables — designs, coded components, and documentation — excluding our pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how, which remain ours and are licensed for use within the delivered work. Until full payment, we retain all rights and may suspend delivery.
Portfolio use. Unless you opt out in writing, we may show non-confidential work in our portfolio and case notes. Confidential materials are never shared without written consent.
Warranties & liability. We warrant that services are performed with professional care. You should test deliverables in your environment before production use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including fraud or personal injury.
Termination. Either party may terminate for material breach that remains uncured 10 days after written notice. You pay for work completed to the termination date. Sections on IP, liability, and payment survive termination.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, with exclusive venue in the courts of València, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit visualnorthhouse.com. This policy explains which cookies we use, why, and how you stay in control — in line with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
Essential cookies. Required for core functionality: remembering your cookie-banner choice (stored in your browser’s localStorage under cookie_accepted), maintaining session state during checkout or form use, and protecting against abuse. These do not require consent.
Preferences & analytics. If enabled, preference cookies remember choices such as language or dismissed notices, and analytics cookies help us understand aggregated traffic (pages visited, device type) so we can improve the site. Where consent is required, non-essential cookies run only after you accept via the banner.
Third parties. Embedded services — for example the Google Map on our contact page and Stripe during payment — may set their own cookies when you interact with them. Their practices are governed by their own policies (Google, Stripe).
Managing cookies. You can accept or decline via our banner, clear stored data at any time in your browser settings, or configure browsers to block cookies entirely. Blocking essential cookies may degrade site functionality such as remembering your consent.
Updates. We may revise this Cookie Policy when our tools or legal duties change; the revision date at the top of this booklet always reflects the current version. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
Section IV
Refund Policy
We want every engagement with VisualNorthHouse to feel fair and transparent. Because our work is customized creative labor, refunds are handled on a staged basis rather than as open-ended store credit — here is exactly how it works.
Before work begins. If you cancel before we start discovery or design, any deposit is refundable in full, less non-recoverable third-party fees (for example payment-processor charges) where applicable.
During the engagement. Once work has started, deposits cover planning and production time already spent and are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-project, we invoice proportionally for completed work and deliver the artifacts produced to date. Unused prepaid retainer hours remain valid for 90 days; after that, they are non-refundable but may be applied to other services with written agreement.
Revisions & satisfaction. Each package includes the revision cycles stated in your proposal. If a deliverable materially deviates from an agreed brief, we will revise it at no extra cost until it conforms. That is our primary remedy; cash refunds are not issued for subjective preference after brief approval.
One-off payments & errors. Duplicate or erroneous payments made through our payment link are refunded in full to the original method, typically within 5–10 business days of confirmation. Statutory withdrawal rights for EU consumers, where they apply to distance contracts, are honored in addition to this policy.
How to request a refund. Email [email protected] from the address used in your engagement, with your project name and payment reference. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and resolve approved refunds within 14 calendar days. VisualNorthHouse — C. del Pare Luis Méndez, 14, 46910 Sedaví, València, Spain.
